As a seasoned executive with a passion for identifying and setting up new lines of business, I specialize in driving growth and innovation, particularly in the electronics manufacturing sector. Currently, at BC Jindal Group, I lead efforts to establish a new business vertical in electronics while also overseeing government liaison and engagement activities with both Government of India and State Governments.
I have played a pivotal role in assessing and evaluating numerous projects, including CMOS (Semiconductor) fab, Display fab, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), and PCB, among others. My expertise lies in developing strategies that not only expand a company’s portfolio but also foster long-term, sustainable growth.
Equally passionate about industrial and economic development, I have extensive experience in international business development, market entry strategies, and fostering global partnerships. My track record includes driving investment and market access for global companies seeking to enter India, and conversely, helping Indian companies expand into European and UK markets.
Notable Achievements:
Led the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) as Head of the ESDM vertical, creating a robust electronics manufacturing ecosystem and attracting investments from leading semiconductor and electronics firms into Karnataka.
Played a key role in the introduction and promotion of India’s first Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for mobile and electronics manufacturing, helping secure over $1.8 billion in investment and generating a projected $220 billion in production commitments by 2026.
Actively engaged with top-tier global and domestic electronics manufacturing companies to support India’s electronics sector through strategic policy frameworks, including PLI schemes for large-scale electronics production, IT hardware, and electronics manufacturing clusters (EMC 2.0).
Earlier in my career, I represented the Government of Wales (UK) and Alsace (France) in India, where I provided cross-sector expertise across automotive, aerospace, pharma, fintech, FMCG, and other industries. This role further honed my skills in international market entry and expansion.
